Consistency.
A friend replied to one of my emails a few weeks ago and gave me a great hint on how to start your day more productive: always go to bed and wake up at the same time. I gave it a shot: my alarm has been ringing on 6:50, every day for a week now.
What's crazy about that: I went to bed at 1.30am on Friday and set my alarm to 9:00. And what happened? I woke up at exactly 6:49! After only a few days consistently waking up at the same time. Impressive, body. And I actually wanted to sleep longer... But that's the thing, you also have to stick to it on the weekends to make it last.
Belle Beth Cooper writes that, in building a habit, quantity is more important than quality. You should pick something very tiny, very easy, and repeat it every single day, consistently.
