New experiment we started today
We brainstormed some ideas on how to increase our tweet impressions = make more people see our content. One idea is to "hack" our way into the top images on Twitter hashtag pages.
As you can see, those pages are powerful real estate. If we come up with a way to almost certainly enter this space with every trending hashtag, that's gold. So we need to experiment with templates for images that get retweeted and liked very often.
One experiment: we automatically create explainer-images for hashtags. Since people often ask this question on twitter ("what's the hashtag about?"), we assume there's high potential. We were too late für #Fummelpapst, though.
Something else we tried some time ago: tweet-quotes. Not alway as successful as this one.
What are your special "hacks"?
